Privacy and Cookie Statement

Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers and other partners

Please note that we collect the personal data you provide and use this to conclude and execute a potential agreement with you. This applies to our customers, both potential and actual, and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

We use your data for the following purposes:

Customers

  • to send you a quotation
  • determining specifications/requirements of goods/services
  • delivering products/carrying out services
  • invoicing
  • smooth and efficient communication regarding the implementation aspects of agreement

Suppliers

  • concluding and executing agreements
  • informing you of our specifications/requirements of goods/services
  • requesting a quotation
  • placing an order
  • paying invoices
  • smooth and efficient communication regarding the further aspects of agreement

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.

 

Collection, use and storage of personal data of business partners

Please note that we collect the personal data you provide because you have given us permission to do so, and because it is necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interests. We process the following data: name, address and contact details.

If you are a business relation of ours, we will use your data to be able to contact you for purposes relating to our business. For example, discussing a possible cooperation, providing and obtaining information, and maintaining our network.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities. Your data will be deleted one year after the last contact.

 

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, we may need to provide your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us, or who perform services on our behalf. We also make partial use of external server space for the storage of our sales and purchasing administration. This includes for your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for emails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is passed on to the provider of this service.

Direct Marketing

If you have given us your permission, we will save and use your personal data to inform you personally by email in the future about our existing and new products and services and, in some cases, make you a special offer. Each time we send you an advertising mailing, you will have the opportunity to tell us that you no longer wish to receive this. This is done by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.

 

Retention period of personal data

If you have requested a quote from us but have not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. This also applies to if we have received an offer from you, but we have not become a customer of yours, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you or we become a customer, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our records for the tax authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

 

Your rights

You have the right to ask to inspect your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also ask us to add to your personal data or change any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted, or that the use of your personal data be restricted. You can also object to the collection and use of your data, or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you can ask us to send you your personal data, or to transfer it to a third party. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded onto your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. These text files store information that can be recognised by the website during a later visit.
